if you application is as buggy as it is please fix all the issues that your app is causing. I closed boom 3D when I had the audio issue and what do you know no issues. I have been through apple support thinking it was an issue with my mac. audio is also has a lot of static in it when these errors happen if I can get anything to play. I noticed when using Boom 3D my Mac scrubs/skips through videos online via safari and via quicktime and music on iTunes, freezes my chrome and unsyncs audio on Firefox and safari.
I have used this both on Catalina 10.15.3 and Mojave 10.14.6.
